El fin de semana pasado publicaron en la revista El Sábado de el Mercurio un abstracto de la “guía ecológica” desarrollada por varios especialistas para una edición especial de The New York Times Magazine. Entre varios tips de interés, me quedé pegada con uno en especial que acusaba a las pantallas blancas de computador de usar más energía que las negras. Después de leer que una versión negra de Google ahorraría 750 megawatts hora por año en todo el mundo, Toby Heap, empresario australiano, creó en el 2007 la versión negra y eco-consciente del buscador: http://www.blackle.com/.
